‘Beautiful’ A 12×12 layout

Sharing with you today, a 12×12 inch layout. I had been meaning to scrap a picture of daughter for some time and eventually got round to doing it.

I chose papers from Prima ‘Vintage Emporium’ collection

I stamped some music notes with Versamark on the background paper and embossed it in Gold.

I layered the picture onto some paper pieces. I love sheet music and incorporated a paper with music notes on it. I used a smaller piece of music paper (from my stash) in the lower right corner of the picture. Edges of all the papers used to layer the picture were embossed in gold using Versamark ink and Ranger embossing powder in gold.

I used Tim Holtz Thinlit die Doily #1 to cut some doilies out of a paper from the collection and embossed the edges in Gold.

To embellish I fussy cut some elements from patterned papers. I used quite a few flowers on this layout. The two large flowers are from Prima.  The small flowers with gold bead centers are Vintage Emporium ‘Operetta’ . I also made some flowers using Tim Holtz flower punches and used these along with the ‘Operetta’ flowers to create a cascade effect down the right edge of the photo.

I also incorporated some Prima resin embellishments into the layout.

I cut out some elements from paper and tucked these here and there in the composition. The two birdcage fussy cuts are from some Webster’s Pages Journalling cards I have and the roses peaking from behind the large white flower were cut from a Tales of You & Me paper.

For the title I used a sticker from Tim Holtz Chit Chat sticker book. I used a dusty attic chipboard piece to frame the title. I gold embossed the chipboard piece and used a small paper piece to mat the word ‘beautiful’.
