Challenge 14: Rustic

Ramadan Mubarak everyone!

We are back with another fun challenge with a Rustic theme, and gorgeous moodboard.

(Our moodboard, in simple terms is a collection of an image, some colors, and keywords which convey the essence of what we are looking for in this challenge. We hope you take inspiration from it, and design something capturing the mood set by the board.)

You are free to interpret Rustic as rural, or something plain and simple, as long as its incorporating some summer warmth, family feeling, a little bit sunshine, and outdoors.

I’m sure you are already thinking of all the wonderful projects you can create for this challenge, so I leave you with some inspiration from the DT.

[Clicking the image or the name of the DT member will take you to their blog, where they describe how they created the project.]

I made two cards on using the super awesome kit sent by Shereen…and Altenew labels set. Basically these are two celebration themed cards which I plan to use for Eid

A simple card

Created an invitation card for a coffee/tea party using the elements that define rustic to me, jute thread, wooden sticks and corrugated paper.

I made a relatively simple, 6″x6″ card, with a couple of doilies, some flowers, metal stars and rhinestones.

Some fun news for all craftaholics!
