I used the ‘mon Amour’ collection from Graphic 45 for this album. The album base is a Prima Hardware journal. These journals are very convenient with 6 chipboard pages and enough space between the pages to allow for dimensional embellishments.

I painted the outside of the album with Martha Stewart Craft paint.  I layered a 4”x6” Ephemera card onto a piece of black cardstock which is actually the packaging from the ephmera pack. I diecut a frame from one of the papers and framed part of the 4×6 card. I used some Prima flowers, fussy cut elements and some pieces of Scrapiniec chipboard (whick I painted with craft paint) to embellish the front page.

I painted ‘Precious Memories’ Chipboard and layered it onto a diecut before adding it to the Album. I layered some black cardstock and patterned paper on the spine. I then added a resin frame with a clock bauble from my stash. I painted the inside pages in black.

For the inside pages I used quite a few 4×6 and 3×4 cards from the ephemera card pack. I also used tags from the collection. I also added some tags that I diecut from the paper.

I added chipboard diecuts and seam binding (dyed with distress spray) to embellish some layouts.

Added some interest with stamping here and there.

More tags, a pocket, some stamping and lace on this layout.

I started with an 8×8 inch canvas. I applied a coat of white gesso to the canvas and let it dry. To add color I used distress spray in Wild Honey and Ripe Persimon. I added texture with a text stamp using watercan archival ink from Ranger. More texture was added with Prima 3D gel applied through  a stencil which was then covered with ‘Snow’ embossing powder and set using a heat tool.

I chose a Blue Fern chipboard piece  and built my composition around it.  I covered it with gesso, and embossed using versamark ink and oatmeal embossing powder.

In the upper right I layered  some Petaloo flowers, chipboard flourishes painted black, fussy cut clock and a couple of baubles from my stash. I stamped and white embossed an image from Blue Fern Studios on black cardstock , fussy cut it and added it the composition.

I added a paper clay medallion in the lower right part. The medallion was made using an IOD mold. I painted it white and used pink mica powder over the center.

I layered it with some Prima flowers and leaves and some stamped elements.  . I white embossed ‘magic is something you make’ from Dina Wakely on a piece of black cardstock and cut around it and added it to the canvas. Finally I  added glass glitter in some spots.

Some products used in the project.
